Today is turning out to be such a sweet day.
Sunday's are usually wonderful anyway, but today at church there was an extra added element of fun.
Today was "Old fashioned Sunday". What outfits, what creativity, what flair, what fabulous fun!
The theme carries on through till tonight. After the evening service, we are having an ice cream social.
It's wonderful to see our church engage in activities which bring everyone closer together.
Now...it's nap time for me. Ya...I know...that sounds like something an old person does....right? But...OH HOW I LOOK FORWARD TO MY SUNDAY AFTERNOON NAP!!! After such a long work week Monday -Friday, then Bob and I spend ALL DAY every Saturday working on our yard work and housework. and laundry...I take to heart and very seriously what the Lord said....

Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you an holy day, a sabbath of rest to the LORD:
Sunday is a day of rest. Even though I do put in some long hours in the kitchen (which is a blessing and a priviledge....not work), by the time I get home....I am drained physically. My 2 1/2 hour nap on Sunday afternoon is beyond refreshing. Sooooo....I'm off to my nap.
