This picture above is from early this morning just before my two guys left to take Bobby back to his base.
I wanted so badly to be able to go with them, but I could not get the day off from work. It's time's like these when I truly hate the fact that I have to work, muchless a full time job with little hope of being able to take a day off here and there for things like taking our redneck to and from his base.
I was trying to take a few pictures before they left, and Bobby very quickly put his hands around Bob's neck, just as the camera snaped a shot. That boy....what am I going to do with him???
We had a wonderful time with him home, but we are not sure how long it will be before he gets to come back. It seems that the marines only let him home for holiday's. So I guess we just have to wait and see.
Bobby was enjoying a few last moments playing with his Georgie before leaving. It seems that no matter how long Bobby is gone, the instant he returns Georgie once again reverts to loving his FAVORITE human. Boy and pet become bonded again. Georgie stayed with in petting reach when ever Bobby was in the house. He slept with Bobby, just like he has always done, and meowed the most pittiful meow, when Bobby would leave. Georgie is now laying on Bobby's bed and pouting. He knows when the Back pack is gone.... so is his human. Poor thing, you should see this cat, he is pittiful.
Bobby was also pouting a bit, as he really does not want to leave. He said he misses everyone here so much. Especially a special someone. He loves being a Marine, but he is a family kinda guy, and misses all of us, and church so much when he is gone, and now he misses someone else quiet terribly, who is becoming most special to him. But he loves serving his country.
I hope your weekend was as fullfilling as mine.
I hope you went to church and took time to worship our Lord and Savior.
I wish for you a blessed day.
I must go and get ready for work now....FROWN!!!!!
