I want to share some fabulous information with you today.
It's all about coupons !!!
Oh My Gosh...I love coupons !!!
I don't know why I hadn't thought before now to share this with everyone, but it hit me early this morning as I was browsing through one of my fav coupons site's...."I should share this information with all my bloggy friends!"
I have for two years now, been going to a coupon website, where I get great coupons for next to nothing. No seriously. Today I spent $3.44 for shipping & handling for the coupons, and @ face value they will save me $30, and most of them at my grocery store will be doubled, so that is $60 savings for only $3.44 spent for the coupons. At my local grocery store they always *double* the value of any coupon that is 50¢ or less. Now if you do like I do, I **ALWAYS** use these coupons when the item is on sale. So that it triple's the savings on that item immediately. AND....three times a year, my grocery store will **TRIPLE** the face value of coupons that are 50¢ or less. So you do the math (cause I ain't good at it...LOL). Anyway you look at it...you can save BIG, BIG money just by using coupons at your local grocery store. I do it ALL the time.
Ok, yes, with this site, you do pay a teeny-tiny fee for the coupons, BUT!!!, I always gain far more in savings then the coupons ever cost. But what's the difference between this website and if you spend money EACH week to buy the Sunday paper, and with the paper you only get what THEY offer, versus the website where you can choose which coupons YOU want.
I signed up with an account on this website, and when I need more coupons (other than getting them from my local newspaper) I sign on, and browse through the one's that are being offered.
Many of them require a minimum of 5 to be purchased, but for me this is great. I love being able to stock up on many things, and keep extras in my pantry.
I always choose to use my debit card online to pay for them (NEVER...EVER HAD A PROBLEM ON THIS SITE WITH USING MY CARD! just thought you'd like to know), I get them in about 3 to 4 days, then, I go online and co-ordinate my coupons with what's on sale (and I always take them with me to the grocery store because my local store also has in-house sales that are not listed on the main web site for that grocery store also...just another tid-bit for ya').
When I am looking through the website and choosing my coupons I ALWAYS and ONLY get the one's that offer the longest expiration date on them. You do have to be careful, and make sure you look at the expiration date on the coupons and take into consideration the mailing time, your personal budget, and store sales (if you keep up with them as I try to do). I also take these coupons with me, any time I go to my local dollar general, family dollar, CV, Walgreen's, and any place else that they accept coupons. I never know just where something will be on sale at a fabulous price, and being able to combine that with using coupons....YAY FOR ME!!!
So, go on over to "The Coupon Clippers" and give it a look-see. You just might find that this is another wonderful way to save you and your family more money. Now-a-days with everything STILL being so terribly expensive, the economy not showing much improvement, and everyone needing to S-T-R-E-T-C-H their hard earned dollars as far as possible, maybe this is something that you might add to your frugal way of thinking?
Although my home, now, only has me and my hubby here, we still need to economise and save in any, and every way possible. These coupons (and any other's I find, and can get my hands on) are all part of our way of life, now and have been for a very, very long time. It is ALWAYS worth the small cost, time spent browsing sale papers, finding out when TRIPLE coupon days are being offered, etc...etc...etc.
I will give you an example:
Chore Boy Golden Fleece Scrubbers.
1 1/2 years ago, I ordered some coupons for this product. I ordered 5 coupons, @ 5 ¢ each. The coupons face value was 50¢ each. When I got to my grocery store, the "Chore Boy Scrubbing Cloth's" regular price was $1.29 per box. They were on sale for 99¢ per box. (30¢ savings already), so then take off the face value of 50¢ per box, = .49¢ per box. Now take off another .50¢ for the doubling of that coupon, that left the store owing me 1¢ per box, right? Well then you have to figure in taxes per box right?.....nope, they never charged me taxes because I wasn't paying anything, so they didn't charge me !!!! The Chore Boy pads where free, and they paid me 5¢ back, for all five of the boxes that I was getting. Things like this have happened several times in the last few years. I just opened the last box of those chore boy scrubbing pads about two month's ago, they come three to a box. Man oh man do those scrubbing pads last a very, very long time. They never rust, they are nearly impossible to wear out, and they are machine washable to boot (if you get concerned about bacteria, as I do.LOL). So talk about saving money and being frugal.I know a woman who prepared all her coupons to line up with manufacturing sales and store sales, and the "triple" coupon day, and walked out of the store with $300.00 worth of grocery's, and she paid NOTHING for them, and made $30.00 back to boot. I...SAW..IT! I freaked out when I saw this. She is the one who told me about "The Coupon Clippers . com".
So, my friends, and those of you who are frugal, budget minded, or just strapped for cash not wanting to spend a fortune to feed your family....go give them a look-see, and give them a try.
I love it.
Love & Prayers,
Ronda
