Ok, sorry it's been a few days since I posted in here, but with my baby boy readying himself to leave for boot camp, we had been spending all the time together possible. Friday was something of an ordinary day, then when Saturday got here we spent the whole day together. I don't mind admitting that Friday and Saturday, Bob and I indulged Bobby with nearly every food request he made. That was not a problem at all because pretty much all he wanted was.....Biscuits and gravy for dinner Friday night and for breakfast Saturday morning. Then for lunch Saturday he wanted to go to the Golden Coral in Hendersonville. While we were there for lunch Johnathan (whom is a long time friend of Possums and he is kinda like a surrogate son to us) well he joined us for lunch.
Saturday night turned out to be a night full of surprises. Our home turned out to be filled with about 20 extra people who dropped in to come and say "good by" to Bobby. So, we had hot dogs with homemade hot dog chili, chips and dip, soda's and caramel dumplings with vanilla ice cream for dessert. Boy oh boy was my little house full, yet it was a very fun evening.
Well I thought I would share **some** of the pictures that I took throughout the morning on Sunday right up until the transport van pulled away, with my baby inside.
These two sweet people are my mother and father in law. I wanted one last picture of them with Bobby before he left. My father in law, who had been peeling about 30 pounds of potatoes just before this pic was taken, thought it would be funny to hold the knife towards Bobby's neck in the picture. He is always joking around.

Bobby and Brother Dean. Brother Dean is the wonderful man who drives our Homeless bus on Sundays. Bob and Bobby ride with him to pick-up and drop-off all those who come on our bus.

Goofy picture's while we were @ McDonald's eating breakfast before we took Bobby to the recruiters office to leave.

L to R- Crystal, Lauren, Bobby, Morgan, Amanda. Lauren and Morgan (the one's directly on bobby's left and right are his cousins, and Crystal and Amanda are two of the teens from our church.

These two lovely and precious ladies are Mrs. Lynne and Mrs. Cynthia. Two of my dear friends who came to see Bobby off and another young man who was leaving.

This is Brother James and Sister Carla. Two people who are very important to Bobby & us. They were his Youth Sunday School teachers at our church for a very long time. Bobby loves and respects them so much, and Brother James has been a huge help, influence, and wonderful example to and for my son.

This big lovable fella is my hubby's twin brother Don (they don't look as much alike these days).

This lovely lady is my sister in law Kathy. She is Zachery's step mom. (Zachery is my nephew who recently graduated for boot camp just before Thanksgiving).

Brittany, Hunter & Hannah, my nieces and nephew. They are the brother and sisters of Zachery, my nephew who is also a Marine. Zachery is the young man I posted about a few months ago. He is fixing to graduate from his most recent training in Camp Lejune.

My niece Lauren, hugging her cousin, sad and in tears. The look on her face says it all, and truly says exactly what we were all feeling.

Possum, with tears flowing down her face, hugging ever so tightly, her *little* brother.

A very proud dad, saying good by.

Me and my *baby* boy, hugging, saying good by, and me in tears.

Please pray for all of the young men and women in every branch of the military.
Love & Prayers,
Ronda
