I thought that for today, instead of to many words being written or said. I am just going to share some picture's of things and places from inside and outside of my home. God has been better to my sweet hubby and I than we deserve. Our love of old/antique/ well used things from the past, does seem ever so abundant in this home of ours. God has been so good to us.
I think I will throw in a few picture's of a few of the "newer" blessing's that my sweet Lord has given to us. See if you can tell which of the things in picture's are the "2 newer" items. LOL.
Please take time to look around your home, and just be ever so thankful for all of God's blessings in your life.
A wall of apples and antique tree saw's and gardening tools.

These paintings were done by my dear sweet grandpa.
He really was a very talented man.

Here is an antique grain scoop my sweet hubby got for me, and hanging from the scoop handle is an antique, hand embroidered kitchen towel. It was once part of a set of seven. Each one had the day of the week, and something that was done on that day. can you see this one? It says "Saturday Bake". I do not use it, it is now to fragile for that. So I hang it there to simply enjoy.

This lovely little glass heart was given to me by a friend. She said it had always reminded her of what God had done in her heart when she gave it to Jesus Christ.
Cleansed it, and made it new and clean, like the transparency of clear glass. Then she said, the red that was running through this glass heart (looking almost like a red ribbon),was like the Blood of Jesus. Running all through our hearts as we become reborn in Him. It sits on my kitchen window sill so that it can remind me many times a day what Christ has done for me.
My sweet little butterfly wind chime, how pretty she is.
A lovely rose from my new rose garden.

Here is my little reminder to be "kind" to myself on those days when I realize just how "big" I am. I am very secure most of the time. Yet Satan does try to bring me down from time to time. So this serves as a reminder to use softer words.

And finally here are the "two newer things" that hubby and I have brought home,LOL.
Our two children, who we have and still are watching grow up and become such sweet, loving, and wonderful young adults. We are more proud of these two, than of anything else God has ever seen fit to bless us with. Oh how we adore these two. There have been so very many times in our lives when hubby and I so wish that we had been able to keep the other six little one's of ours that are now in God's tender care, waiting for us to "come home". I wish I could have been able to have a "household full of little one's. But God does no best. These two blessing of mine are my heart & joy.
Oh how I love them more than words will ever be able to describe.
