calendar, etc. The pictures are not so great, but I wanted to
give you an idea of what I use. I am still working on adding things
to it as I see a need for something. I really love the fact that it is what
is called a half sized day planner. If my purse is a fairly large one, this
will fit right down into it. I never leave home without it. It's small enough
to carry everywhere, or to just use here at home.
It's kinda like my "Brain in a binder" LOL.
I have actually had a day planner for years, but until about a year ago,
it had never occurred to me that I could or should combine it and my household
notebook all into one. I can't tell you how many times I have been out of the
house, only to realize that I needed some of the information that I kept into my
household notebook. So why not combine the two.I am working on a section for recipe's (only our most fav one's and my basic cleaning recipe' solutions), and a card section ( for get well cards, b-day cards, thinking of you cards, but I will only carry one or two of each @ a time) that I could leave for someone while I am out and about.

This is inside the front cover. There are little slits on the section
on the left for things like credit cards, license' etc (I do not carry
these here, I put them in my wallet). But in one of the slits and
behind the section is where I keep my post it note pads, and maybe
a few larger papers I need fast access to right away.

This section is called "Daily Docket".
This a section of papers that I print off of my computer,
Kind of like a "To Do List" or as Flylady called it a "PODA"
Parade of Daily Adventres"
The daily docket has sections on it for
1. most important tasks for today
2. what's for dinner
3. water drank for today
4. blog ideas and info
5. todays to do list
6. general times plan/scheduele
7. misc./notes

Try starting a household notebook for yourself. It can really help to keep you organized, and help keep your home running smoothly.
