Getting ready for vacation. Yay for us!!!
Hubby and I are spending this weekend preparing and getting ready for vacation next week. We are leaving after the first of the week and will return after July 4th. We are both really looking forward to some much needed down time.
This is also a sad reminder of just how fast our kids have grown up. This will be our very first vacation WITHOUT our kids, EVER. We have mixed emotions about it, yet we are still glad to have a chance to get away. Possum will be here, and our little redneck is STILL obviously in Montana, so it's just us "old folks" gettin away.
There are some up sides to this, not sure what they are so I'll have to figure that out later, LOL. Oh yeah, lots of alone time with my handsome hubby. YAY FOR ME!!!
I am really looking forward to seeing my baby sis and her family.
Well not allot to write about today, 'cause we have lots to do.
I am so thankful to God for the way he has arranged everything for hubby and I. Even when time are of a frugal nature economically, God still blesses us with exactly what we need. Even a frugal and fun vacation. Ain't God Good.
