Let me introduce you...part 2

I am still working on figuring this blog format thing out ??? I could not figure out how to get the picture's all on the same post in the order I wanted them. So here is part 2.
This handsome young man is our son Bobby. His legal name is Robert, just like his father, his father's father, and his father's father's father. Do ya follow me. Every first born male in my husbands family has been named Robert for a few generations now. So we call him Bobby. His nick name is redneck. He is a country boy that was raised right in the middle of a city. He went to public schools just like our daughter did ( we have never been able to afford to send them to a private christian school, and now we wee that it was God's will for them to see "the world" school system ) God can use public school settings for His good, I will always be convinced of that. It just has to be the parents home and spiritual influence that ultimately makes a difference in how God can work. bobby really came into his own comfort zone when we moves 2 1/2 years ago out into the country/county. He is a country boy and a redneck at heart. He is a shy, quite young man, that is passionate about his God,faith, family, his country, his church, his Savior Jesus Christ. He is proud of his southern heritage (in the right way), he Loves the Rebel flag and the history behind it, All the history, not just the twisted view some try to put on it.
He loves truck's, car's, fixin the motor's in most anything. He loves his "30" pound cat George. Yup, I said 30 pound cat, and to think all we did was have him "fixed" the rest came naturally, hehe. He loves his mamaw and papaw deeply, loves to go hunting when he can.
He has always been a quite boy, sometimes to the point that when he speaks, between his southern redneck drawl, and quite voice, we often have to say HUH? what did you say? But recently, after more than 6 months of prayer and seeking the Lords will, he announced his call by God to Preach. The first thing nearly EVERYONE said was congratulations and he is such a quite boy??? Well, let me tell you, our Pastor Davis feels that it is really important for a young man when he has announced his call to preach, that this same young man should just get right in there. So the following week on Sunday night, Bobby preached his very first message. I can tell you now, after hearing for myself, God can use the quite one's too. He was not quite during most of his very first message. I was sooooooo very surprised, and proud of him.
He loves being at home with us, just hanging out, watching some TV, eating (his all time fav past time. He is the only skinny one in the family & he has the metabolism that I want, LOL). he is a great help around here to me, because some of the problems I have, bobby just steps right in and will do things like carry all the laundry baskets down stairs to the laundry, or take out the trash, or anything that requires lifting, etc. He is truly a good boy.

Let me introduce you...

Good Morning,
I thought that today I would start introducing my family. I am still getting photo's scanned into my computer, so this will be a little bit at a time, so be patient.
These two good looking people are my handsome husband and our beautiful daughter.
My husband's name is Bob or "Big Bob". That is a nickname he has been given by nearly everyone he has ever worked with. He is a very tall, husky, handsome, very smart, FANTASTIC sense of humor, great big fun loving kinda guy. He is nearly as big as a "bear" ( that's my pet name for him, hehe)but more gentle than winnie the pooh "bear". You can never tell when he will break out into a funny little dance that he does ( like the gopher from caddy shack the movie), or when he will just at random start doing or saying the funniest things. He has been my joy and laughter, sent from the Lord, especially during those time when I had no joy of my own. On the few occasions that we might have been mad at each other, he won't let me stay mad, ARRGG! seems silly, but you know what I mean sometimes you just want to stay mad and everyone leave you alone, right !, wrong !. My bear always turns things around and makes me laugh. I love him soooooooo very much for that and so much more.
He is an extremely hard working man, and he has always worked very hard to take good care of us. By my Lords hand and mercy, thru my husband, we have never been with out anything that we have ever needed. The Lord has many, many times thru Bob and his hard work, given us things that we have always wanted as well. Bob & I have always tried to raise our children to know that as long as they are never naked, hungry, or homeless, then they are and have been truly Blessed by God, & that they should always be thankful for that and so much more.

Now the beautiful young lady beside him (no that's not me, LOL), she is our daughter Christina "Possum", that's her nickname (I'll tell ya' about that one later hehe). She is our first born. She made her entrance into this world with a great deal of difficulty, and an early entrance at that. She was nearly 2 months early, horribly sick, and had to fight for every breath, everyday for a very long time. She since that day of birth, has always been kind of a spunky, fighter at heart. She almost never gives up on anything or anyone. But when you maker her mad, Watch-out and be careful. She will and does often speak her mind ( maybe to much) but the Lord will help her temper her tongue in time. She will always fight for the underdog, or anyone who has been wronged. She has always tried to be-friend those who have hardly ever been be-friended. When she makes friends it's often for life, no matter what. She is loyal, loving, kind hearted, compassionate, spunky, mouthy, hard working (at the things she wants to do, which is never cleaning her room arrgg! LOL). She has a heart that is bigger than can ever be described in words. she is a soft & lovely girl inside and out. She is confident, talented vocally and instrumentally, compassionately loves all of her family (although mamaw and papaw are her all time fav's next to me & her dad of course). She comes from a large family which we are all close, and she has inherited that quality. She, I don't believe, will ever meet a stranger in this world, but if the one she meets gives her the wrong kinda trouble they had better RUN ! She also has a wonderful sense of humor. She longs to be a wife and mother now, but the Lords timing is His own, and she must Wait for a little longer I recon. She is our beautiful little girl that has turned out to be a beautiful young lady. We love her so.

May God Bless You,
Love and Prayers,
Ronda
