I am still working on figuring this blog format thing out ??? I could not figure out how to get the picture's all on the same post in the order I wanted them. So here is part 2.
This handsome young man is our son Bobby. His legal name is Robert, just like his father, his father's father, and his father's father's father. Do ya follow me. Every first born male in my husbands family has been named Robert for a few generations now. So we call him Bobby. His nick name is redneck. He is a country boy that was raised right in the middle of a city. He went to public schools just like our daughter did ( we have never been able to afford to send them to a private christian school, and now we wee that it was God's will for them to see "the world" school system ) God can use public school settings for His good, I will always be convinced of that. It just has to be the parents home and spiritual influence that ultimately makes a difference in how God can work. bobby really came into his own comfort zone when we moves 2 1/2 years ago out into the country/county. He is a country boy and a redneck at heart. He is a shy, quite young man, that is passionate about his God,faith, family, his country, his church, his Savior Jesus Christ. He is proud of his southern heritage (in the right way), he Loves the Rebel flag and the history behind it, All the history, not just the twisted view some try to put on it.
He loves truck's, car's, fixin the motor's in most anything. He loves his "30" pound cat George. Yup, I said 30 pound cat, and to think all we did was have him "fixed" the rest came naturally, hehe. He loves his mamaw and papaw deeply, loves to go hunting when he can.
He has always been a quite boy, sometimes to the point that when he speaks, between his southern redneck drawl, and quite voice, we often have to say HUH? what did you say? But recently, after more than 6 months of prayer and seeking the Lords will, he announced his call by God to Preach. The first thing nearly EVERYONE said was congratulations and he is such a quite boy??? Well, let me tell you, our Pastor Davis feels that it is really important for a young man when he has announced his call to preach, that this same young man should just get right in there. So the following week on Sunday night, Bobby preached his very first message. I can tell you now, after hearing for myself, God can use the quite one's too. He was not quite during most of his very first message. I was sooooooo very surprised, and proud of him.
He loves being at home with us, just hanging out, watching some TV, eating (his all time fav past time. He is the only skinny one in the family & he has the metabolism that I want, LOL). he is a great help around here to me, because some of the problems I have, bobby just steps right in and will do things like carry all the laundry baskets down stairs to the laundry, or take out the trash, or anything that requires lifting, etc. He is truly a good boy.
May God Bless You,
Love and Prayers,
